About the study
You are invited to take part in a research study about how people with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) use inhalers to take their medication.
What's involved
During the visit, we will measure how you are using your inhaler, you will be asked to complete questionnaires about your COPD health and medicines use, video recording of your inhalation technique will be taken and the researcher will give you advice on how to adjust the use of your inhaler (if needed).
Visits required
One single in-person appointment that takes approximately 45 minutes
Eligibility criteria
- A clinical diagnosis of COPD, older than 40 years old, use of maintenance therapy with a dry powder inhaler in the last three months or longer

Ethics approvals:
The ethical aspects of this study have been approved by the HREC of the University of Sydney [2021/066]. As part of this process, we have agreed to carry out the study according to the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research (2007).
